Chicken is loved by most of us and we all love to eat chicken. Chicken Pizza is one of my favorites pizza of all time.
For all pizza lovers here is a super-easy pizza made with pita bread, smoked chicken breast, and creamy bocconcini cheese.
PREPARATION TIME: 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 4
individual wholemeal pita bread
- 125 g tomato-based pasta sauce,
1/2 cup
- 230 g smoked lean chicken breast, (2 small breasts), thinly
sliced
- 140 g tomatoes, semi-dried, (2/3 cup), sliced
- 100 g
olives, pitted, (2/3 cup), halved
- 150 g bocconcini, thinly
sliced
- 100 g Rocket leaves, fresh
PREPARATION:
1.
Preheat oven to 220°C. Place a large baking tray in the preheated
oven to heat for 5 minutes.
2. Spread the tomato pasta sauce over
each pita bread.
3.
Top each with a quarter of the chicken, tomatoes, olives, and
bocconcini. Place pizzas on a preheated tray and bake for 10 minutes or
until cheese is melted and bubbling and the base are crisp.
4. Cut
each pizza into quarters, top with some rocket, and serve immediately.
NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION:
Per serving: 205 calories; 2 g fat (1 g sat, 0 g mono); 15 mg cholesterol; 45 g carbohydrates; 31 g protein, 5 g fiber; 405 mg sodium; 112 mg potassium.
